Hopefully, Maryland will have a mild winter. I live about 20 minutes from the hospital and its all pretty much highway. Our development hardly ever gets salted and there is a hill that leads out to the main road. That might be our biggest challenge if it were to snow.
I am about 30 mintues away. It's not a bad drive though. I do it every day to work...even in the case of bad weather (which we hardly ever get in south Arkansas-at least this early in the year) it won't be too bad. Plus, I hope I am not in the situration that I will need to make it to the hospital any quicker than that...with my first, my water broke and I didn't even start having contraction until after that. Then it was over 3 hours before he did my c-section so there was no hurry.
i am bout 15 min by car no traffic..hopefully there will be no snow!!!!that wouldnt be a good thing.
I live about 5 miles from the hospital! =)
There is an upside to living on a tiny island.. Pretty much everything is 10-15 minutes away.. TOPS!!
A snow storm would really stink. I live about 20 minutes away too. I hadn't even thought about snow, now I'm going to have that on my mind. It would take alot longer than 40 minutes though if the roads were bad. They very seldom salt the roads here that we would be driving on.
