Sorry been MIA for awhile - D/A update
So i went for my 25 week d/a today and it looks as if i'm going to have this little girl earlier than expected. We discussed my section and the doctor wants me off all lovenox/heparin for at least a week before he does the surgery. Since i went into labor with my daughter at 39 weeks he thinks i'll go earlier than that with this one. So he is giving me an amnio at 37.5 weeks to see if her lungs are developed - if so he said he will deliver her between 37.5 and 38 weeks. That means Christmas baby for me!!! He's also giving me a sono at my my next appt. on the 14th. I have gained 15lbs so far - which is pretty good considering the amount of food i'm eating! Hope you are all doing well!!!
Glad to hear all is okay! My doc has also said I need to be off lovenox one week prior to delivery. What I don't get is, what if baby decides to make an early appearance?
Glad to hear that everything is ok. Even though you have to have an early section your doctor seems to be a very good doctor and ya'll are ahead of the game! :)
