having u/s on Friday! rough sleep positions

I am having u/s this friday to determine sex and plan to do the cake thing on Sunday after church so by Monday I will let u all know!!  I am considering buying a pg pillow cuz my hips hurt when I sleep in my side and my back is starting to hurt too. The only prob is what about H, I usually cuddle w/ him??  My sister suggested we buy him one to and name then Nancy (for him and Ted for me so we can both cuddle and no one will be left out...lol  Course I don't know if I have enough room in bed for 2 body pillow a man and two cats.  My last pg I practically kicked ex-H out of bed in the last month cuz I needed so many strategicly placed pillows there was no room for him!

This is my DH's first, too. He is stepdad to my 9 yr old DD, been around her since she was 2, but it just isn't the same. I am definitely taking the prenatal classes again. We are signed up to start October 1st. He said his buddies laughed at him when he told them that I was making him go. I really need him there though. It took two people at my last birth to help me through and that was with drugs. I have been toying with the idea of having a doula, but he really needs some preperation. I think he can do it, he just doesn't think he can. Men are such whimps sometimes.

I make my H put his leg between my legs so my hips don't ache but  halfway through the nite he has the nerve to move...lol.  So I imagine a pillow would be more reliable.  I am trying to get him prepared since this is his first by watching "Bringing Home Baby" and other child birth shows that come on the Discovery and TLC Channels.  I think he's almost over the gross out factor.  I was thinking of doing the birthing class again for his benefit.  I knew he needed more info when he saidhe idn't want to hold the baby "until it's eyes opened"  lol as if it was a cat or something:)

Hah, that is funny. I have already started thinking about kicking hubby out too. I got a standard size pillow for between my legs and a boppy pregnancy wedge for under my belly. I just ordered the wedge so not sure how much it will help, but the regular pillow between the legs has been great.
