mucus plug

Has anyone lost their plug yet?  I am 36 weeks and 1 day today and started "shedding" it last night!  I know it doesn't mean much but i find it very exciting.  Kind of a reminder things really are happening down their!

I woke up about a month ago with menstral like achiness and came to find out i lost my mucous plug. but it wasn't anything serious. not color to it at all. and here i am christmas day still wating for her to come :P

I am 36 weeks also and still waiting... so far nothing happen... only Braxton Hick contraction throughout the day.. sometimes it's intense.. sometimes it's mild... nothing serious... I am getting nervous each day...I believe I am due anytime now...

My next appt on 12/28... This appt will have cervix exam and all kinds test...i will know if my cervix dialate or not...

at my last appointment they were going to test for strep b but found it in my urine early on so are going to treat me for it anyway.  Usually i would have an appointment thursday but with the holidays I wont have one until monday.

I haven't had an internal yet, either - maybe next week (I think they'll swab for strep B then).

I think that I might have this morning I am 36 weeks but when I went to the doc yesterday they said everything is measuring 37 weeks and I am dilated 1.5 cm and 50% effaced!!! And the week before I wasnt dilated or thinning out or anything. Also yesterday they could feel his head already down and in position!

I 'shed' mine with my first and went into labour almost straight away (he was born 12 hours after - almost to the minute!)  But I know everyone is different.  My BH with this baby have been soooo strong, I have to sit down until they pass.  I don't remember that with the other 2.  I'm 37 and a bit weeks now and I know that things are still a bit off yet for me, the baby still has strong regular wriggle times and hiccups, so he/she isn't resting up for the big arrival just yet....

I know that is what i am upset about that it can regrow i think i lost a pretty good chunck of it lol. GROSS I KNOW.  My mom said she didn't notice hers with any of her kids...

I've been having a lot of braxton hicks. after bedding.

Really?  Wow!  I never did with DS, and I still haven't had that happen with this baby (or any BH contractions, fro that matter).  

I heard that it can shed (and then regrow itself) so you could stil be a few short weeks off, but it IS defintely exciting!! :-)
