lower abdominal pain

Ok, so I'm almost 8 weeks pregnant & I noticed when I lay down & lightly press down on my lower left abdominal area it hurts really bad. I can also feel a hard spot & if I press firmly on it, it almost makes a popping noise & slides to the right & I can't feel it anymore. If I stand up & lay back down, it is back where it was before. It is extremely(almost unbearable) to put pressure on & if I move certain ways or sneeze it also hurts really bad. What could it be & what should I do? I go to get my first sonogram on Wed. but should I try to get on sooner or wait till then to say something?

He said it is more than likely scar tissue from my last pregnancy & if it keeps hurting, he will check it out.

Well, I'm not feeling as much pain, but it does still hurt. I called the doc. & he said he could rule out my appendix(sp?) & it probably is normal & moved my appt. from Wed. to Tues so we will find out then!

If this is realy hurting you and if it has you worried I would call your Dr and see if they can do your U/S sooner. I'm not sure what that would be, but I think I would want to know. Or maybe the nurse call explain it to you over the phone if it's normal.
