wow girls we are getting so close to having these babies..i can not wait till our january girls start popping out babies lol..well i thought something was going to happen theothernight but when i got to l&d they stopped the contractions again and said i have a kiddney infection..i am still only 1 cen dialated and baby's head is still down and low, i go back to my dr tuesday..i have been so tired these last couple of days and i am so ready for her t be here but yet at the same time i kinda want her to stay lol im starting to get a little scared hahhahaha so how are all of you ladies? does anyone think they may have a dec baby instead?

Katsmommy - I'm sorry about the kidney infection and contractions.
I'm due late january. I definitely don't think she'll be here in December. I haven't dropped and don't have any contractions. Baby head is down, so thats good. I'm having a little trouble walking and moving around. She seems very cozy inside. I might be the first with a Febuary baby. :)

I'm due at the end of January (25th)....so, I don't want the baby to come till after the first week in January at least. Baby is in head down and I can feel the head kind of grinding against my bones. Which is uncomfortable but I will survive. I am very tired but It's my own fault for over booking myself. I need to slow down but I don't think that is going to happen.

katsmommy - sorry to hear about the infection. Hopefully once that is cleared up you will feel a little better.

I too am looking forward to hearing about the arrivals from this group :) So excited for each of you and I am thankful you all have shared this experience with me.

A lot of that depends on the state/country and the amount you/spouse made for the year. If you are not in a very high tax bracket some people may see $1,500-$3,500/child. It really varies with many factors. Contact a local agent that works on finaces/taxes and see what they know. =D

I could care less about the refund.. I am more looking forward to having my baby girl due 12/30 in Jan so I can be allowed all of my PTO and take care of my deductable in one shot. In the long run that to me seems easier! But who knows what will happen.

I am so ready to have this baby. I am due 1/6 but she can come whenever after this week.  I am dilated to 1 and 50% effaced but my cervix is still firm.  i did a lot of walking on Saturday and am now paying for it.  I am so soar down there I can hardly walk or roll over in bed. She gets hick ups daily.  I am very excited fro her to be here and get my body back.  I can't wait to nurse and cuddle her.

Infections are no fun.  Hope your feeling better.

I am with Brigadiva.. I am due 12/30/10, but at this time my daughter isnt ready to get here and it will probably be Jan. If she has not dropped or I havent dilated by jan 5th, I may not get to have my VBAC and it will be off to the OR for a C-sec =(

As long as she is healthy, it will be okay.. I have 3 weeks to prepare my self for that decision. Hopefully she starts to drop and I start having BH contractions, my body needs to get it gear. Last pregnancy I was 6days late and he didnt want to come either w/out being induced. Hoping its better this time.

I would like to believe I will have a Dec baby.  As much as I want to spare the kid from "sharing" a birthday with all the Christmas craziness every year, we are just eager for baby to come!  Due date is Jan 7, so it's very possible (plus the extra tax deduction won't hurt!).  Havent had any labor-type "symptoms" yet, but doctor will do vag exam on Tues, so maybe we'll find out something or ultrasound will provide a guess at how ready Junior is.

Not really nervous for the labor yet or anything - just eager to get to the next step and bring the little one into the world!

On the contrary, I am an "end-of-December-due" and am thinking this little gal wants to be a January baby! lol  Someone tell this kid to get outta there :oD  Ugh, sorry about the kidney infection, I know from experience that is no fun:o(
