a very scary weekend

so i woke up on sunday morning around 6am in agony all i new was that it wasnt any kind of labour pain it was very diff pain to that ,that i have ever experienced b4 ,we rang for an ambulance and after riving around in an A&E bed for hrs on end they discovered i had appendicitis and they were preparing theatre for me .well as we waited it came about that i would have to be transferred to a diff hosptal as there was no beds on a ward when came out of theatre so another few hrs passed i was high on morphine and pethadine we finally got a bed in an hospital an hr away from my home :( all the while i was worried to death as to what was going happen to my baby im now 15weeks i was told that there was a chance of miscarrage altho its also a simple prosedure too and normally goes well but  the thought of it still freaked me the heck out anyway when i was transferred the docs at the new hospital were a bit more weary about operating.
My pain was easing off so  group  decission docs and me and my family decided we would wait and see what happened next if it eases off and is bearable i would just carry on with mild pain relief untill things changed if it got worse agin then i would agree to be operated on :(
well to my relief i made it through the night comfortably and also cut bk on pain relief too :) then as i got to monday the pain decided to stay at bay and give me a break and is still giving me a break yippee ,im back home now and have been told im lucky to have just had a grumbling appedix and no op is needed (for now anyway) they said it may return it may not im hoping my body behaves itself at least til after baby is born anyway ,i really dont want to go through that again not now next week or ever .
i had a scan yesterday to check baby had coped with all the meds and stress my body was in and it was all good baby was showing off for the camera lol  so for now alls good thanx :)  for reading and hearing about my very scary weekend xx

That is extremely scary, I hope that you don't have any pain until after your baby is born. Thankfully you didn't need surgery. Will they be monitoring you for the rest of the pregnancy to keep an eye on it?

Wow that is so scary! Thankfully you didn't need surgery! What a relief! It reminds me of when I first found out I was pregnant and they thought I had a uterine pregnancy plus an ectopic and told me if they operated the other one probably wouldn't make it at that point. I was so devastated but thankfully they did another U/S and had the radiologist look at it and they said it looked more like a cyst. Scary moments!! I'm so glad everything was ok!!!!
