does pineapple really induce labour?

Has anyone tried nipple stimulation? It worked for me with my last pregnancy, with this one im not quite ready yet.

Hello lovely well I ate a whole pineapple and a pint of juice at like 2ish this morning and still no sign of anything :( just want to meet my baby. I'm 39weeks tomorrow. I don't want to wait for up to 3possible weeks. I'm getting impatient now :( xx
