I'm 37 weeks and 1cm dilated 80% effaced anybody just all of a sudden in one night dilated way more and went to delivery room??  If so how can I speed this process up??

I went to hospital with contractions, not dilated at all. But 100% effaced. They kept me in because I lost my mucus plug while I was there and had a small bleed. This was at 5pm. By 11:30pm that night I was 8cm dilated and they broke my water at 12am. Then bub was born 12:31am :)
