Spotting?

I have posted similar questions in the 35+ community. I'm not trying to be a broken record but this keeps happening to me and I get so upset when it does. I just saw my Dr yesterday and I'm
11 weeks 4 days. The baby was moving and active and had a strong heartbeat. I get checked weekly for now bc I'm considered high risk. Last week the doctor examined me w the speculum bc I had been spotting pink/brown. He said my cervix looked healthy, and closed. Now this week it happened again but he said it must be from the progeterone suppositories I have been using twice a day for the last 8 weeks. A couple of hours ago I went to the ladies room and when I wiped saw pink and a tiny red speck in it. I hadn't even inserted today's suppository at the time!! Is this happening to anyone or have you heard of it happening?

Yes. I agree with RenaeAshton. I am spotting like you described for weeks. Finally, I got tired of worrying and I m not paying attention to it now.

Spotting is very normal! Don't stress or worry unless it comes with severe cramps and dark red blood. Yours sounds like just normal routine spotting.

Thanks ladies, I stayed on the couch last night and then went to bed early. My spotting was also light and pretty much when I wiped but it's still scary! I am working today and all week but I sit at a desk so trying to stay put as much as possible. I just wish my Doctor would tell me that women sometimes spot and it's normal as long as there is no cramping or actual blood flow. I have read that lots of women's doctors advise them of this but mine seems to not say that.

I'm 8 weeks and had spotting 2weeks ago that lasted for about a week. I had a previous miscarriage so was definitely worried when I saw that. Only difference is this time, the spotting was relatively light and was only when I wiped about once a day. Before when I miscarried, it kept getting worse like I was starting my period.. I was also having severe lower abdominal cramps when miscarried. I went to my doc 2 weeks ago and my levels kept doubling and the next week had US and everything looks great. Doc said about 50% of women spot while pregnant and have healthy pregnancies. My advise is take it easy.. No heavy lifting, no intercourse.. This is what my doc advised me to do. Hope everything works out!!
