My partner has been brilliant, bless him. Hes so good with baby jack. Will be a week old tomorrow. I'm healing well. Hardly any belly pain now. Just boobs been engorged for a couple of days and had a sore nipple as he wasn't latching well on 1 side but even thats better than earlier today. Just been pottering about doing a little bit of washing up and washing.

What helped me was taking my time doing things, taking my meds, I slept in a lazy boy recliner so I didn't have to strain to get up from bed, and I had a bassinet with wheels so I could push my son around the house as I needed to instead of lifting him. I walked to keep active but not too much to overdo it.my husband cooked, cleaned, and helped as much as he could when he got home. So that really helped. Eventually I was able to do more as I healed and found a routine. Hope this helps! Just remember it gets better with time.

It took about 3 weeks to be able to move without pain. But a few months to heal completely because I did to much lifting. everyone is different so try and give yourself time and rest.
