question for you moms

I am 37 weeks, I went to my appt today and my ob said my baby is all the way down, and I'm dilated to 3 on the outside of my cervix and a 1 on inside. Does anyone have anything similar to this or relate to this? How long do you think I got?

I was just told at 36 week appt. I am dilated to a 3 on outside and 2 on inside with a very soft cervix. She also said she would think I would deliver sooner rather than later.

I had started walking around our local park. I also used my exercise ball whenever I would fold laundry or watch tv. I would sway when cooking or doing dishes. I found out though that your doctor's watch for a drop in weight as a sign of labor starting or soon coming.

Really thanks! That would be nice, did you do anything to progress labor?

I have 5 kids and have never heard of being dilated on the inside.  When I went to my 37 week checkup I was 3 cm and my daughter was born the next evening. Good luck. Hope it's soon for you :)
