I'm a personal trainer and just found out I'm pregnant. I am slowing my workouts down for the first trimester. Lightened my weights, stopped jumping and am moving my an workouts to just core stuff with body weight. Definitely not pushing myself hard like I uses to. I suggest Keeping your exercise moderate.
I'll be hitting the gym on a regular basis still, just toning down the intensity and lowering my weights and upping my reps. :-)
I read the same thing about exercise being good. I'm more worried about the weights and strength training. Any idea about weight training?
I read that working out at a moderate level is good for you and baby. I think you just shouldn't push yourself too hard during the first trimester.
