Hi Karen, I did avon beofre lilly was born while working full time. you really dont make much money unless you have a lot of customers. I found it wasnt worth my time delivering catalouge, picking them up again, packing order and distributing them too. I was paying for catalouges and bags and sometimes samples and was only really making enough money to buy a few free things on side for my family each month, like shmpoo, make up etc. In Aust people cant order over internet so it may be different with pay schemes too.
Abyway i hope you have more success with it then i did.
I work part time as a care provider for a boy with special needs and his siblings. I LOVE it cause I can take Lochy with me, and he loves the little play date. I have a year mat leave but because I was self employed before having Lochy the last job I had that had E.I. taken off was a low paying, once every couple weeks job so I chose to work part time when Lochy was about 4 months old.
A friend of mine started selling allouette (sp?) shortly after her daughter was born but didn't have much success. On the other hand I know a woman who sells Arbonne as well as Gold Canyon candles and loves it and makes a nice bit of extra money. She reached out to her friends and family at first and then her husbands co-workers wives.
