Is anyone noticing this?

Okay it seems like everytime I'm out wether it's doing an errand grocery shopping at an app or out on a date with my dh nobody pays attention to where they are walking and misses my belly by like a half an inch. I was at my dr's office the other day and 3 people in a row not only almost knocked me over but almost got me in the stomach. Now I'm not a tiny girl anymore I went from 127 to 179 I'm 5'7 with blonde hair how can you miss me. I usually wear nice bright spring colors and my stomach is huge seriously girls I look like I'm 19 mos LOL. But seriously how can you miss me come one? I finally turned around and said to one woman who almost bumped into my belly when are people like you going to pay attention? It's getting out of control. Has anyone else going through this. It's a random question but in my world it's happening all the time! It's crazy.....Some people have no respect for pg women!

My goodness people are rude, I didn't realize it untill i actually became pregnant and felt like i'm taking up alot of space.  I was at the super market today and I was standing in the aisle looking for baking powder and this lady litterly ran into my tummy with the cart, and acted as if she did't even notice and kept going.   I'm shy and the type of person to not say anything but boy was I mad.  I was almost in tears and my boyfriend stalked down to her and gave her an earful.  I clearly look pregnant, everyone keeps telling me i look like i'm carrying twins, and i still have 3 months to go, so she obviously saw me, just didn't care.  It makes me so angry, i'm overly cautious about everything i do,and the carelessness of other people just **** me off....

Okay i'm done ranting. Thanks for listening...
*hugs*

Yes! Some people are so rude. Last night i was at the footy and we hopped into the lift, then all these people started barging in. This lady gave me an elbow in the stomach then stood there leaning on me with her bag. I said excuse me and she just looked at me! my husband pulled her off me and said she said excuse me are you deaf? I've never seen him so upset!

The grocery store is the worst place bc someone will park their cart on the side of the isle and then stand in front of it looking at someone on the opposite side, so between their body and their cart, they are taking up the full width of the isle. If I say excuse me and they dont move enough, I will push move their cart out of the way myself and leave it where ever it lands, lol. I havent really noticed rude people anywhere else besides there. As for people running into me, its mainly kids that are running and not paying attention, or that turn corners and arent watching...that has happened many times, I have already learned that in a crowded space I will have my arms ready to block my stomach, or if the kid is small enough, like 3 or 4, I will put my arms out to catch them before they hit me...that kind of gets on my nerves, but i guess kids will be kids, lol.

Isabella- Don't you love it when the rudeness comes from people who should know better..And I hate that like you can't move down I'm huge and pg but thats ok just take the whole bench up I'm just stand here and give birth...LOL Uggg people have no class!

Kimberlee- I did just that and the lady called me a Ahole my dh was bs he was so mad I told him forget about it she didn't hit my belly so lets just get to where we are going it was to my obgyn's office I mean of all places to not pay attention a building full of pg women. People just dont' care.

ChelC- I hate the grocery store one women did hit me with her cart not hard I was only like 10 wks pg but I flipped out. Now they do that to me all the time sneak by the cart and get in between it and the shelves it's like you can't wait 5 mins and yes I always have people up my butt and I have to back the cart out to get out to push it forward in line and people get so mad. Hey we all have to wait but give me a break I have a huge stomach come on! I get so annoyed but the one it bothers more is my dh cause he has class and it furiates him that my baby is in danger by nothing other than inconsideration!

Thanks ladies for responding it helps to know I'm not alone!

i have that problem too, especially at the grocery store. people just don't seem to pay attention and it really bothers me. i was recently at the grocery store and a lady almst ran into me with her cart, then 5 minutes later i couldn't get by another lady and politely said "excuse me" and she moved her cart maybe an inch, AS IF I COULD GET BY. it's really annoying.

Maybe because my stomach is quite large by now, I don't get bumped into very often, and if they did I'd definitely say something, how rude of them to do that to you! They could hurt your baby, and they don't care? Just start being as rude as they are to you and saying something, maybe next time they'll pay attention to what they're doing. Even not being pregnant, it's still rude, and they need to be corrected.

yup, all the time. And at Disneyland, a couple was sitting and taking up an entire bench and I stood there waiting for them to make some room for me or godforbid offer their seat but NOTHING. I finally asked them to skoot down. They did but seemed bothered.

People are terrible, but the worst are 30-50 year old women... men still help or open doors but women are nasty and frustrated...
