Update....I'm being induced!
I had my app today. I'm 4 cetimeters dilated. My Dr once again stripped my membranes.....OUCH. Today was longer and alot more painful. At the end of the app he decided to have me induced on the 23rd. My Dr wants to see how much more my body can do in the next week. I hope I go sooner but if not I'm pleased he said my cervix is now favorable for induction...Yay! The pain and all the discomfort is coming to an end soon......Woo hoo!

so, did you try the yoga ball? I had tried the primerose oil to no avail and after taking it for over 1 week, even at 40 weeks and 4 days, I was only 1 cm dilated
life is great, breastfeeding is painful but that's to be expected (I had forgotten the feeling)... I'm so in love...

Isabella- You are the best I will def try it. did you try it in the hosp or at home? I did what my dr told me not too and tried the primrose oil and in less than a week I was dilated another centimeter. I don't think I want to try it again since I have been losing so much plug since thurs. I will buy one if I need too! Thanks for the help.....How are you feeling?

I got one of those yoga balls and sat and bounced on it for an hour... litterally lost my waters a few hours later!

Kupi- Most likely it was. I have been losing mine non stop since thursday it's really grossing me out and I have had blood and the nurse midwife completely blew me off on the phone so I have an app on tues I'm going to let my dr know! These people on call do not read my chart nothing they ask me the stupidest questions on planet earth....It is getting old! I haven't tried nipple just walking pineapple and sex! Seems to be doing the trick now if only my water would break! Ugh...Keep me posted. We are both being induced next week Yay!!!!! I hope we both have like a 5 min delivery!!!!!

AP - I think I lost my mucus plug this morning - I have been doing all of the necessary inducing procedures (sex, nipple stimulation and walking) - I really want to go into labor naturally before he induces me next week - I think it was my mucus plug - it did not have any blood in it but looked like a big glob of snot - what do you think??

My dr talked to me at my app on tues....I asked him if he would just take the baby out that day and he said the more time that goes by your cervix becomes more favorable. He told me there are women who are 4 ft 7 and have a easy vaginal delivery and there are women who are 6 ft and have complications he said you just never know. Remember the u/s is just a guess as to actual size of the baby. I would at your next app ask your dr to check your cervix. If he says to have you induced next wk let him. My dr didn't this week because he feels my body will just continue on it's own and by the time I get induced I'm that much closer...Your cervix not being favorable for induction is not effacing or even dilating. My cervix is 4 centimeters and 50 % effaced so my cervix is favorable to go forward with induction does that mean it will be a easy labor who knows I could some how end up with a c-section you just never know what your body will do. I wouldn't worry at this point you still have alittle over a wk until your due date you will be amazed what your body will do closer to that day! Hang in there and keep your chin up. The best thing you can do is relax! I'm here if you need to talk!

My doctor said he might induce me next week too--- but I am not due until the 27th - he said the baby is measuring big, he is doing an ultrasound on the 22nd to see how big the baby is and if he is big - doc said he is going to induce me bc I have a small frame and would not be able to deliver a big baby - what do you think?? He did not check me to see if I am dialated - maybe my cervix is not favorable for induction (I dont know what this means) I would like to go into labor naturally but would rather be induced then end up with a c-section....
Cari- Thanks buddy. I'm super ciked. I have been spotting today so hopefully it picks up and I go in and have him tonight...LOL. Do I seem anxious? I'm happy tho even if he hangs out with mommy till next week the 23rd is right around the corner! I honestly can't wait to feel better. I will be uncomfortable from the delivery but in a few wks I will be back to semi normal. I appreciate your support! How is lil London doing? How are you feeling? I will ttyl.

No signs of this baby wanting to greet the world! I'm really tired and heavy. Can't sit, stand, walk or lie for too long as my back kills me. I know it's not long but it feels like an enternity (hahahaha). Keep me posted my friend.
AP- I'm doing ok, still in a lot of pain with my episiotomy and having lots of uterine contractions as it goes back to size but it's getting better everyday. I LOVE having my boys, Noah is so good with Evan and DF is coming around, he was acting pretty distant at first and that was really hard on me. I have been really weepy though, thankfully I have had my mom and sister with me when Joe is at work at night so that helps, I'm having a really hard time being alone, I hope that passes soon and doesn't turn into anything worse than just the normal baby blues. I feel like I could cry at the drop of a hat but my new little guy cheers me up pretty quickly.
AP - Im being induced on the 22nd if I dont go into labor on my own by then. Maybe we'll both be lucky and have babies this weekend on our own :) Soon, soon.
Grose- Thank you so much. I hope my lil guy comes anyday now! I'm more than ready to meet him! I just can't wait to be done and not be in constant pelvic pain. Lately I have been an emotional basket case so my hormones are flying. How are you doing isn't it so much fun having 2 kids. I think for me that was the biggest switch going from 1 - 2 kids. It's awesome tho I love it! How are you recovering?

Woo Hoo! A baby in sight. I'm so happy for you. I hope things get going by themselves for you before the 23rd! Good Luck :0)
That's awesome AP!! Lets hope he comes on his own sooner though!! That's what both of my boys did, came a few days before my scheduled induction, it was nice to know that they were ready to come out.

AP - I'm on my way to L&D right now I've been having PAINFUL contractions since 2:30-3 this morning!! I'll let you know what's going on! Congrats on the good update, next week we'll BOTH have our babies!!
Kc- Thanks I can't wait to not be in constant pain....Yay. Yes and no with my oldest I had contractions but my water did not break so they started me on pitocin and after hrs and hrs I ended up with a c-section. My 2nd was a v-bac I was induced in a emergency situation my amniotic fluid was severely low after I had a nst and a bio u/s. My 3rd was a planned c-section I had so many complications with her pg my dr thought it would be safer for baby and me. Now with this pg my dr feels vbac is safest since I have so many complications after my c-sections. So my dr is confident that is what will happen he said my progress is wonderful.....Cross your fingers at this point whatever is safest for baby and me and at this point it's a v-bac.....Thanks for your support.
