From glowing to gasping for air

Hey ladies! well, I wanted to know if I'm the only one who has moved from the beautiful and glowing category to huge and out-of-breath humanoid... seriously, I totally wabble and just can't sit for more than a few minutes without wiggling around cause I'm so uncomfortable... oh and driving has become a new challenge because of sitting so far from the stearing wheel!!!

I'm definitely feeling too old for this!!! I just turned 38 but I feel 83!

I'm due July 4th but I think that I won't make it past mid-june (hoping)... I'm thinking about getting a few accupuncture treaments around june 15th to speed things along...

I just had an ultrasound a few days ago and they said that the baby was a little over 4 pounds and was in the 40th percentile! Scary! I'm 5"8 and my husband is 6"... my 1st son is and was always in the top 95th percentile...

I guess that's what they mean when they say that advanced maternal age is often asociated with low birth weight

hang in there ladies... only a few weeks til we need to worry about loosing weight while being speel deprived! FUN!

I am definately in the uncomfortable stage!  I can't sit still at all - which makes it hard at work bc I have a desk job.  I feel like a huge blimp - even though everyone keeps saying how great i look (note to self - don't lie to pregnant women :-) ).  I am actually just back to work today after having to leave early on Monday bc I felt so bad.  Mostly with nausea.  Dr. put me on bedrest for two days and I'm back and feeling better today (hope it lasts).  Just really uncomfy, but I'm glad for the time I can keep my little one in my tummy so he can grow and develop as he should.   I keep saying things like that so maybe I'll quit focusing on how ready I am for him to be here :-)

Uh, yeah....does sweating count as glowing? If so, I'm glowing like a firefly. Otherwise I'm just fat and sweaty and have had to start wearing pads because I pee every time I caugh or sneeze or get kicked in the bladder. LOL.

As for the size, Isabelle...I wouldn't worry. I learned with my last one that those ultrasound sizes can be wayyy off, especially the further along you get. The day I had my son, they did an US to measure fluid and told me he'd be 6 lbs, 11 oz. They were ONLY two pounds off! He was 8 lbs 10 oz, and 23 inches long. Yowza! LOL.

I've been in a relatively good mood throughout pregnancy, thanks to my husband who has been an absolute sweetheart the entire time.  Anyway as far as glowing?! Well, the glowing started in the first trimester with terribly greasy skin and hair, then I got a cut little bellyw which maybe lasted until 26 weeks, then skin dried up, or more like became the kalahari desert. Then I became a blimp, my belly is huge for my frame, my pelvis has been hurting since 17 weeks, I can't barely move more than a walrus can....and I still have 10 more weeks until my due date...I'm 30 weeks and I can't wait to get my body back.

I was in the glowing stage as well but that ended around 5 1/2 months. Isabelle everything you said is happening to me especially the uncomfortableness. I cannot stay in one position whether I am sitting down, laying down, or standing up. I have sciatica and my feet, hands, and face are swelling up. I am due July 4th as well but I am hoping he comes mid June too. Well we just have to endure a few more weeks ladies. I can't wait to see everyones babies!!!

Nope can't relate I'm not ever one of these glowing pg women who only gains 20 lbs and feels good all the time! In my world you get pg acne and huge fast and when you are pg with a boy you get very very red and with the girls you get extremely witchy and no matter what you always get up to 200 lbs nothing less. I have not been in the glowing category at all and not with my 1st 2nd or 3rd and I'm not with this one either! I'm glad you girls were! You are both very lucky!

Oh, and when I lay down at night, I can barely breathe because this baby is crowding my lungs *already*!  I usually don't feel like that til the last few weeks.

LoL, I can relate, and I'm not due til Aguust 4th!!!  I feel like my due date must seriously be wrong; there is no way I can big this big @ 29 weeks!!

Don't worry, 40th percentile sounds fine.  A lot can change between now and then, too.
Hang in there!
