Anyone else in their 3rd trimester...
what shouls we be doing when we are so close.

I went for my 3d last week. we didnt see much but not as bad as what some people would see. we got to see a DOODLE !!! again. thank god and he was sucking his thumb and had his other hand in his ear..
I just packed the baby bag... I know I wont use any of that stuff till he comes... Just in case! I still have to go buy some pj's and a robe for the hospital and some slippers! Maybe I should just buy all my essentials so I can back my bag as well! I can't believe how close we are getting!! It still feels like time is standing still but I think back to when I booked my 3d u/s and it felt like forever ago and no it is only 5 sleeps away!!
I have bought tons of clothes, but didn't think of packing my bag for the hospital. It seems like time has stopped for me. I am so anxious to hold my baby. Packing a bag is not a bad idea though.
i figured i have 12 weeks so i have plenty of time to get things together. I haven't bought the baby much of anything (one outfit, one dress, and a pair of sandals). Her room is still not done... (althought it is officially EMPTY!) My baby shower isnt until May so I figure once that's over then i will begin the "getting ready" process.
Well as we live on a huge property (550,000 hct) there are about 19 or 20 homes that all the workers live in. When one moves on and moves out we all upgrade house or move into a new on if we want to. So i have to wait untill the man in the house we want moves into the new home and then we can move. So it might be a few weeks yet, depends on him. ( stockies - cowboys dont have much stuff and are usually very dirty so wont take long to move but will take long to clean up).
I am but will prob just put cot in and book cases up and when he comes home we will get more tings for him... Im going to love putting up wall stickers though. My DD loves them.

hahaha!!! We don't need the carseat till after so i guess there is no rush to put it in before. Just make sure to grab it if you go into labor!! That is what I will probably do...lol! When do you move? You must be getting excited to set the nursery up!!
KMZ - how horrible of her. pregnancy is like gastro anyways so having a double dose would really **** me off. I think im going to have to get some little girly clothes out to take with me to hospital too. bringing a nice pretty girl home in a dark blue boys outfit would kill me. Goodluck on the 18th. Im going to be induced but noone seems to be able to tell me when its likely to be. I refuse to go to my ob gyno anymore after we had a big argument when it came time to paying the bill. ( they wanted to charge me $250 for a fill in dr to check my blood pressure and hear the HB) well i can listen to the HB at home and get my mum to check my blood pressure at her work. All that after id just driven 4 hours to the appt. Lets say i didnt pay the bill and told them not to nicely to stick their drs up their arse. money sucking leaches....
DONT MESS WITH A HORMONAL PREGNANT WOMAN !!!! so im just seeing my midwifes now.
krichar - We still need to move house then ill be able to set up the babys room. The cot is still in pieces in the shed! I have no idea when we get the ok to move so im crossing my fingers it will be before the bubs born..
When will you be putting your car seat in the car? and what happens if we go early and trying to put in in during labour???? =/

You'll be fine!! I an just a perfectionist and need to do everything myself! Dh isn't much for reading instructions, he is more of a do'er.... Then a break'er, lol!!! So I sorted everything out so at least things are working AND one of knows now to work it!! You will get there!
I have also been waiting for this moment for almost 10 years so I am a just a little bit excited..lol. And started things early!! I haven't tried putting the carseat in the car yet but I have fixed the straps and figured out how to work it!

Boo to chicken pox! My stepson came down with gastro after a playdate on Wednesday... The parents of his friend decided not to tell us that their entire house had just gotten over gastro until we were walking out the door with DS!
Very yuck time! Thankfully, I managed to avoid catching it with the help of A LOT of Glen 20, Dettol and cleaning. Somehow I don't think pregnancy and gastro are the best mix :s
My BH's are the same - also a lot of bad cramping that feels like period pains.
It's really very scary!
I still don't know when I start my fortnightly appts. The hospital I'm going to haven't been the best with communication. I have an appt on the 18th to schedule my damned c-section so we'll see what happens then.
Fingers crossed that both of our ultrasounds have been right and you're def Team Blue and I'm Team Pink!
I'd hate to bring a son home in pretty pink clothes so I packed two unisex lots of clothes and blankets and we have a boys name as back up! Lol.

We are great thanks for asking. DD had chicken pox few days ago and boy what a tiring time that is. The Bhs are getting so strong i sometimes think im going to go into labour but i only have under 10 weeks to go so i supose thats normal. Have my first fortnightly appt next week then a 4D.. So excited...
I started wondering the same thing on Thursday... I suddenly realised how close it all is (my god it seems to have gone fast!) and that I had nothing done... I had the cot, drawers etc in the nursery and had bought all the 0000, 000 and blankets she'd need but nothing else.
So, the past few days have been spent decorating the nursery, washing all of her clothes and blankets, washing the covers on the rockers etc and packing her bag etc.
DH can deal with the car seat.
You still have time, just start doing it all slowly... Most importantly though, how are you and that little boy of yours going? :D

Oh my i havnt even though about the car seat.. Its so hard to put mine in as i have a suv and have trouble getting in as it is.. Bugger

I know that we get to eat an extra 200-300 calories a day though lol!
