What are you having? BOY or GIRL
Some of know what you are having and others will be finding out very soon! I thought it would be fun to make a poll and see what we are having. Will Team Pink be in the lead or Team Blue? Answer the poll and then respond saying if you are having a boy, girl, or you are going to be surprised!
I will start. I just found out on Feb. 3 at 18 weeks, that it looks like I am on Team Pink!!! I can't believe it. After 2 boys, will come a girl. The tech couldn't find any boy parts, so she was pretty certain it was a girl. I will get it confirmed the first week in April with a 3D/4D scan.
I wasn't supposed to find out until Feb. 16, but I have been experiencing contractions, so I wanted to make sure everything was okay, and my midwife agreed to get me in right away. I have nothing girly in my house...and I am afraid to buy anything just yet, so I think I will wait until April. Also, hubby wants to be surprised, so if I do buy anything, I have to hide it really well!!

CONGRATS Chantal!!!! A daughter is a nice and sweet change! I have a DD and will be welcoming a son in may!!!! ( EDD is a few days before my DD turns 3!!!)
I didnt exactly "show" until 23 wks. Before that i looked bloated, and now im 25 wk WOW what a change!

I know what you mean about being scared to buy anything. I don't want to buy anything yet just in case!!!
I had an early gender scan and baby wouldnt really cooperate for too long! The sonographer said its still early and although you can tell at 16 weeks our baby was hard to see, we only got the one good shot. She said in 20 years of scanning, as far as she is aware, she's never got it wrong and she isnt guessing but she is confident it is a girl!
Im waiting for my 20 week scan though to doubly comfirm then i will start buying stuff!

At my 13 week scan i asked what we were having, the lady said she couldnt really tell but maybe a boy. But in 2 weeks we will be having our 20week scan and then we will find out. I can't wait. They will also do a 3D scan.

Congrats on your baby girl Chantel! I have one more week before we find out....the anticipation is building and we can hardly wait!!!! We have a son already and we really don't have a preference (well my husband sort of really wants another boy!)!
I'll be finding out next week. I feel and look like I did with my son but for some strange reason I think its a girl. I guess we'll see....

Thanks Baker! :) I am so excited to go buy things, but I am holding out another 2 months for my 3D/4D scan. There are soooo many things I wanna buy and they are so cute!!

yay congrats Gina! :) Boys are so much fun! I thought for sure I was going to have another boy...now I have to buy all new clothes! lol
I've been mostly hanging out in the Aug forum since my due date is July 31, but I'll be having a scheduled c-section on July 25 so looks like this is where I'm supposed to be!! We find out what we're having MONDAY the 21st! it can't come soon enough. :) I'm secretly hoping for a boy, we have one DD who is 15 months.
An interesting bit of trivia... I just looked up the Chinese gender prediction chart that predicts gender based on the mothers age at the time of conception and the month of conception. I looked it up with my 2 previous children and it was right both times. It was also right for my sisters 3 kids. It has just said I'm having a girl - I can't wait to see if its right or wrong!!
OK so the verdict is in - those chinese gender predition charts are very accurate! At least for me they are! We had it confirmed today that its a girl! We would have been pleased with either to be honest.

I have a question with that... What about us ivf'ers? Are all my embies the same gender because they were conceived in the same month and my age is the same? Or do I go on my age now and when they implanted? Very tricky for me to look it up... :(
