I gave bought all my baby clothing second hand. You can always take it back and get credit too toward other clothes and like lesley said they hardly wear it cuz they grow so fast. But also toys and bouncers and swings can be second hand. You will save so much money that way tip and everything is in really good condition normally.

I am so sorry for you loss! thats very sad to hear and absolutely understand why your so nervous... its something that you dont get over :(
One of my besties lost her baby about that far along too and even i held my breath right to the end with her next pregnancy... its a huge reminder that there is so much out of our control... very sad
My Gf now has 2 healthy boys and is talking about trying for another ASAP :) but im sure even with having the 2 that fear doesnt ever leave...

I reccomend buying second hand for the most part or borrowing stuff... lots of the baby stuff isnt used for very long and when you buy new you wont get that money back but if you buy second hand you will most likely be able to get close to what you paid back if you sell it... and some ladies just want to get rid of the stuff so you can get stuff for super cheap! obviously things like car seats you really should get new if you dont know/trust the seller and that its been looked after(stored out of the elements/no accidents/not expired, ect)and always look for any recalls also when buying second hand...

For the hospital im gonna pack a lot lol for sure pillows!!! the hospitals suck! and nursing pillow... i think i read everything listed already... but just a note to self that i forgot if you are nervous about driving with baby in the back seat...remember to install the mirror to be able to keep an eye on baby as i didnt and i road in the back all the way home to keep an eye on her lol (it was so not comfy!) but they look so tiny in the car seats and their necks just kinda flop over... i was scared she might choke lol

I'm so sorry for your loss. I couldn't imagine!
I packed quite a bit too....I made sure I packed all my comfy clothes. Plenty of undies and socks to wear and padded slippers for walking around the hospital. I also packed things for hubby too because he stayed the night as well and really, you don't know how long you'll be there before. But yes, I'd pack as if you were expecting a c-section even if you're not. Then you will be prepared.
Make sure you have nipple cream!! I also packed snacks and gatorade. Cell phone charger, extra money (for parking or vending machines) and camera. Take your own sanitary napkins too and make sure they don't have dri weave in them. HOspital ones are not that great (use them kinda if you can..they are free usually) but for comfort...your own are nice!
I also took one of those magic bags you can stick in the microwave. It helped with the pelvic pain I was having in labour.
