please list all ur old wives tales about gender prediction! me and my boy friend want to try everything in the next few weeks before me have our anatomy scan to find out the sex! i will post all my results later! we have already tried the baking soda pee test, any others u ladies have tried?

i've tried the necklace and ring one right from the beginning of my pregnancy, and it always starts in a line (boy) and then ends in a circle (girl) and it always does this every time... i've had one scan its definately only one baby in there. lol. so i dont think it works. but hey, i find out tomorrow (hopefully, if the baby cooperates) soo excited :D

So i was looking around and i found the pencil test, simular to the ring test but just another version to check out...


1.Stick the needle into the top of the pencil eraser – the pencil should be very sharp.
2.Place a thread within the needle – two feet of thread should do fine…
3.The device has been created.
4.Place the woman’s wrist on a table – back of hand face down
5.Holding the string with both of your hands, hover the threaded pencil over the wrist – remember, the back of the hand is face down and the palm of the hand is face up.
6.The Prediction begins:
With amazement, the end of the pencil (lead side) will begin to move.  It will predict the sex of the child – IN ORDER!

You can do this to women who have not yet had children or those that have already had children – it predicts…as well as tells the woman’s pregnancy history.

The prediction will always start with a circle.
•Swaying from side-to-side = girl
•Swaying up-and-down – hand to elbow = boy
•Swaying  diagonal = Twins!
•Large circle = miscarriage/abortion

after each prediction it should do a small little circle before changing again, and for the twins it will show the genders after? i think is what i got from the site...which is named pregancy pencil test .com lol

There is also the ring test. I dont know the details all I know is u.put a ring on a necklace and dangle it over ur belly.

Well, there is always the old canard about how fast the heartbeat is.  Problem is, my son's was always 165 bpm, so there went that nice theory.  Have you tried the ring on the string, and peeing on baking soda (or is it baking powder)?  And the one about indigestion?  (Oh, wait, that one was that if you have a lot of heartburn, the baby has a lot of hair, it's not gender.)

I usually do the ones off the internet but lots of them ask questions about how your carrying or where the baby is kicking... so they are for farther along...  i dont know any good ones, i was hoping someone else would have posted some gooders...
