soooo close, QUESTION...

Hello ladies,

I am soooo close to meeting my son. I call to the hospital tomorrow night to get my time to be at the hospital for my induction monday!  I am 2 hours from the hospital. Well I was checked on fiday and no cervical change from a week prior. My cervix is UNFAVORABLE I am at
-1 station and my cervix is soft but on the higher side. When I was down there last they said the dr has been known to put jelly on the cervix have u go home and come back in 12 hrs, well me being sooooo far away I am praying they don't make me do that. Especially how the cervix can change sooo fast do u think they'll tell me to go home. Again? I am terrified of induction. I've heard alot of bad stories. I am am 39 weeks on monday. Due date the 30th. Im soooo close I just want it over wit. My bloodpressure and borderline diabetes is why im being induced. What is everyones opinions? I've been doing everythingggggg to have some kind of change. Sex, birthing ball, walking, all that. Lol I've had braxton hicks but nothing serioussss anddddd haven't lost my mucs plug that I know of. Im a first time mom can u tell, lol. Anyhow. Im almosssst there. Congrats on everyone havin their babies ;)

Okay thanx so much for the info. Yea they are going to use cervidel. I'm prayinggg that I have some kind of cervical change when I go in Monday. I'm going to go to the local pool here tomorrow and walk in water for a couple hrs. Lol. My dr said it would be better on my back injury cause ill be weightless. So that's the plan. And I'm gonna sit on the birthing ball non stop while at home. And walk as much as I can. I will have 24 hrs to hopefulllly make some change lol pray for me. Hahaha I really don't wanna have to come home and I don't really have the $ for a room the city is a verrrry expensive city. Cheapest room nearby is 120 bucks a nite lol. Id rather sleep in my friends van lol. Anyhow... I'm praying all goes well. Please say a prayer for me. I'm scareddddd. Lol

with my last i was admitted and im just under an hour and 30 min away but my friend who is 2.5 hours away wasnt admitted but her and her hubby got a hotel... it depends on your Dr and prob whats routine at the hospital... you can always talk it over with your Dr and tell him/her your concerns... here tho the hubby isnt really allowed to stay over night in antipartum so it ***** that way and i left with him to the hotel which SUCKED but i didnt want to be at the hospital by myself... anyway we left at 11 and returned at 3am lol but i didnt start to dialate till 7ish and didnt make it to 4cm till 11am so it was a LONG night!!! PS i got the cervadil started at 815pm the night before... they do tell you it can take a while to get going so i really didnt think leaving would be that stupid of an idea... but i really wasnt ready for how intense the contractions really are... i reccomend either taking a bath or sitting in the shower.... water really helped me...
