i just found out on wednesday that i am pg...about 4 weeks. I too had a reversal but back in 2007. This was a surprise for me cause I didn't think i could get pg without meds to make me ovulate. I have drastically cut back on smoking and have switched to an e cig in hopes it will help. i have cut out mt dew which has been hard for me. I have also been eating a lot of fruit. Hopefully this one will stick this time.
I am 5 weeks 2 days and just confirmed blood positive today having an ultrasound today to make sure it isn't in the Tube. I had tubal reversal in August and only have one ovary. So I feel blessed!!! Only took 3 months to conceive. So changing is gonna be a must cause I wanna keep this one around!! Caffeine free coffee is the main thing. Although ladies...the chemicals they use to make drinks caffeine free will increase your symptoms. Having a drink with real sugar and some caffeine is healthier than a bunch of caffeine free drinks. Eating more green veggies, protein, and cutting down fried foods. Although little chubby babies are cute....they are considered obese your doctor just don't tell you that. So eat healthy so your baby not I only will be born healthy but has a good base to start on after they are born.
Coffeee and cut down on smoking hoping to kick it asap..oh and pretty much feeling to sick to eat anything except fruit
So far for me it has been caffeine, chocolate chip frappe is lonely without me, and food. Crazy as it sounds I cant hardly eat meat. All I want all the time is french fries. The biggest change however is not being able to lift 30+ pounds. That is the most difficult so far.
I'm taking multi vitamins and drinking decaf ccoffee. I'm not much of a water drinker but am trying to increase my water intake.
Hiya
Im 5 wks and 4 days today... From finding out I have given up all caffeine.
Im drinking decaf tea and coffee and as a treat at the weekends I have 1 can of Diet Coke - my fav drink. Im trying to increase the amonunt of water I drink and right now I am drinking Cranberry juice as I feel I could catch a UTI very easy (Im having a bit of stinging and strong pee) especially in this cold weather. :-) xxx
Oh and peanuts :( I love Snickers icecream but they are now a no no!
I'm 7 weeks too :-) from day 1 I've had to change what I can eat. No more brie and pâté for me (my two favourite treats) its amazing how much I think about eating them though way more than first time round! Hopefully I can start craving for something else soon just to distract me :-)
