Wrong dates. Help

Can you have the wrong dates?!?! Im very worried and scared.
My doctor said and going off my last period id be 8weeks 4days
When I had my scan it said 5weeks 5days there was no heart beat
But the lady said everything looked normal and to come back in
2 weeks amd I should be able to see the heart beat.
Ive had no bleeding or anything but my doctor now things ive had
A missed miscarriage because ive had no signs of it amd ive
Been pushed back 20days ia this possible ia it normal am I still pregnat
Just ovulated late?! I still have pregnacy symptoms and I did a pregnancy
Test today and still says possitive I did a blood test and get results
Tomorrow but to stressed to sleep and can only think the worae.

With my ultrasound there was a baby at 5weeks 5days

Still unsure. My bloods came back normal ive got no infection and shows im 6weeks witch goin off my scan I am but on the 21st jan when I did the first lot of bloods it showed I was 5 weeks so ive only gone up a week when I should hav gone up 3. She told me not worry everything seems normal and fine but they still have to check if the baby is still alive I have to do more bloods tomorrow if it has doubled then baby is still alive if not then doesn't look good. So stressful! !!

Your story sounds exactly like mine. I went in, he said by my last period I was 9 weeks. I did an ultrasound a d was 5 weeks 2 days. They saw a sac but no baby. I went in 2 weekslater and there was the baby. I am now 20 weeks. When I went back to do the math, I ovulated 10 days late.  :) I hope this helps!
