Try getting his vocal chord snipped. U can have it done at a vets office fairly quick. I have chihuahuas and bred pitbulls with all my other 6 children. They change when baby arrives also. They become more nurturing n caring n tend to really watch over baby. At least in my experience.
I have a pitbull and he is great with kids i have a 5 yr old brother who tries to ride him all the time and he will just stand ther and wait. Mayb try finding out what it is tht is setting your dog off. There is always something tht is making them bark. My dogs would bark until i let them sniff around at what they wer freaking out abt.
Everyone wanted me to surrender my cat before my daughter was borm saying this and that. Well, shes 10 going on 11 next month and I still have him. I could never give him up. Maybe with the dog,u could try hiring a pet trainer?
No don't feel terrible. I have a pitbull who is the sweetest thing ever but everyone wants me to get rid of him before my baby comes, but ive had him since birth and hes like my child. you just have to do whats best
