Has anyone had a VBac? doctor wants to induce while attempting vbac

This it's my 4th baby.  First 2 vaginal last one a csection 4yrs ago. My doctor and I are determined to vbac this pregnancy. No cutting here.  Issue is he wants a "controlled" delivery and to induce at 39weeks 5days. On july16th, he wants me to go in, have a epidural, induce, monitor, wait as long as needed for full dilation,  then push. .. I trust him,just nervouse about being induced. Im 75% thinned but not open and due July 18th. I understand the risk of a Vbac and my doctor is a vbac specialist.  I just wanted to give my body a chance to at least start to open up.  Anyone familiar with or has had a Vbac? Or attempting one.  Success stories welcome!

I've had a c-section,vbac 2 more c-section than another vbac I was induced with my four child and it didn't go as expected so there's nothing wrong with being induced or vbac I prefer a vbac other a c-section any day which I plan on doing with my now 6 pregnancy

I am attempting a vbac too, but no induction. I was recommended to drink 2 cups of raspberry leaf tea a day to help tone my uterus for it. Its also supposed to help with ripening the cervix.
