baby not big enough :-/

I am 34 weeks and had my ultrasound today to find out although the baby is growing, he is only measuring at 32 weeks instead of 34, where I should be. He's smaller than he's suppose to be. Has anyone been told this before? What can I do to help him? They said he's 4 lbs 6 oz. Right now.

What did the doctor say? Were they concerned?

I measured 2 weeks behind in my last pregnancy for most of it, I had a perfectly healthy little boy. My doctors weren't concerned as he was continuing to grow and never measured more than 2 weeks behind. Your doctor will probably get you to have another growth scan to make sure baby is still growing.

I'm 34 weeks and went last week and got an ultrasound done. My little guy was measuring at 5lbs, which I don't think is far off from your baby and they said everything looked good. I would think it they were concerned, they would have told you.

Your just going to have a small baby nothing wrong with that. As long as he's healthy you will be jist fine and so will he if there's cause for concern your doc will tell you
