First appointments/ultrasounds

So I was just wondering when everyone is going to have their first appointments and ultrasounds. My appointment is Monday October 25th and I should also be getting an ultrasound then and another ultrasound on the 26th which is Tuesday.

I don't have my first appointment until I'm 10 weeks, so another 5 weeks to wait :( then the first ultrasound is about 12 weeks - seems sooooo long away!

My first appointment/ultrasound is Thursday October 28.  I will be between 6w3d and 7w4d.  My periods are anywhere from 28-35 days long, that's why I say that.  And this was an unexpected pregnancy, so I have no clue when I ovulated!

bernie40- I'm sorry hun that is a really long time to wait but baby will be nice and big and smiling at you in the ultrasound :-) I hope the nex t few weeks goes by quickly for you.

angela418- you will be right behind me, I hope to see pics of the baby after the appointment. I will be between 7 weeks and 7weeks 4 days. If I go from last AF it started on the 6th so that means I would be 7 weeks but I got a positive OPK on the 15th and may have ovulated on the 16th so I would be 7 weeks 4 days at my first ultrasound.

Tasia32- My last AF started Sept. 5, so we are right around the same time!  Cool!  

bernie40- I think it's good to wait, honestly.  With all the stories we read on here of people freaking out when they have ultrasounds too soon and then doctors wanting to miscarry the baby for no reason, I think I'd rather wait.  I am actually nervous about going this soon.  Last time I was 8-9 weeks when I went.  But, we moved and have different doctors and different insurance, so I guess they do it differently.  But, it is a long wait!

My U/s is on Tuesday the 26th and it can't get here fast enough. I had my FET on the 27th of Sept. So, I'll be right at about 6w1d I think. Can't wait to see how my sacks there are and a flicker of a heart beat.

hi ladies, well I got some good news in the post, looks like I shall be getting my appointments a week earlier than expected :D, I have a midwife appointment on the 15th Nov and the scan should be 2 weeks after that so at least not quite so long to wait.  I can't wait to hear how you all get on :)

I had my first Ultrasound today at 7w 2d and saw my baby's heart beating for the first time. Amazing.

I had my first appt last Friday, but it was really early due to past complications plus I had weight loss surgery, so Im kinda in a different group. But my first ultrasound will be the 28th, ill be 7 wks and 2 days

Please pray for me. I'm on edge but I have faith. I went out and bought "what to expect when you're expecting' yesterday. Felt so strange but stayed up until 1130 highlighting all the things that related to me so far. I felt better after I read it. I just keep praying that all is ok. The few spots i've seen and the cramping ( at times has gotten worse) is scaring me.

hey everyone!  congrats on all the new beans!  I think I'm about 7 weks...  I have my firt appt on Nov 2nd.  Very nervous, since my miscarriage last year.

Verysoon:  I'll be praying things get easier for you!  I didn't care for what to expect too much... I thought i liked it until I read a few others.  Don't get me wrong, I did learn things.  i just like to see changes spelled out for me week by week, instead of month by month.  Check your local library for books.  look at a bunch, then go buy your faves!  P.s.  I have heard of tons of women spotting in early pregnancy and it was fine.  I have had cramps in early pregnancy with all mine!

I had my first ultrasound today and boy am I relieved. I was so happy to know there was only one baby and it had a heart beat. I was a little worried because the hb was 185bpm but the doctor said that it was normal and it will slow down as the baby grows. I am so relieved!!!

Tasia that is so exciting!  Congrats to you! :-)  I like how you said relieved that there was only one baby...LOL...I would freak out if I had more than one at a time!  I have a friend with 3 year old twin girls and I don't know how they did it!  But, I am sure I'd figure it out if given the "opportunity". :-)

Tasia-- you made me LOL.  Having twins is my biggest fear!  Not that I wouldn;t *love* the babies, but I have ONE spot reserved in my daycare... twins would not fit!!  Not to mention DH would probably leave me..... ; )

U/s went great. I didnt' know what to expect when I went in so I was very glad to see and hear a heart beat. I thought maybe I'd just see a sac and hear the heart beat next visit.  It was 128bpm and they said that was good. I also measured at 6w2d but i'm really 6w6d so that gives me a new EDD of 6/15/11 two days before my bday!  I told him about the cramping and he said it was ok and the spotting may be from the meds that i'm taking, he just said to continue to watch it and let them know of any changes. Also said to stay off my feet alot and get pampered until this first trimester is over...it will be hard but I think I can do that...lol!

Just had my first appointment!  I am 7w4d and due on June 12!  Saw the heartbeat...156bpm.  Everything going well so far!  yippee!
