Okay..I had my baby 6/7/12
It's been a little more than 5 weeks..It will be 6 week this Thursday. At my 30 day (4 week) check up my dr said it was okay to have sex in two Weeks(7/19) that I'm healing very well.,,
This pregnancy left me really traumatize labor & delivery. Well a lot of you had read my labor and delivery traumatizing  story... I was in labor for 13 hrs and 3 of those hours I spend pushing because baby didn't want to come out. His umbilical cord was tangled around the baby's leg and neck so it made it really difficult during delivery that I tore down their...this my 3rd pregnancy first time I have ever gotten stitches.. :(

So I was wondering if someone else had gotten stitches and how long did it take you to have sex?

I'm afraid that it's gonna hurt, that maybe it hasnt healed properly and I'm gonna tear again...I'm not in any pain.. :)

Its almost been 5 weeks for me. I've only just stopped bleeding the last few days so now im thinking about sex everyday. Lol. I had 2nd degree tare and a pretty big graze, was so painful for the first two weeks and hard to walk. It feels fine now. Thinking i might try n hang out till my check up.

I had my baby 7 Weeks ago by csection to and I tried to resume sex, but it hurt to much so I had to stop. It burned is  that normal after a csection? This is my 2nd baby and I don't remember feeling like this with my 1st.

Hi i also had a bad labour i had pre clamsia when my labour begun i was induced and they let me pish for 4 and a half hours and i had  a 2nd degree tear and a lot of stitches cause i burst a blood vessel down there and was swollen like a balloon it took three and half weeks before i could walk its been nearly five weeks and im feeling pretty good all my stitches have fallen out but im still tender i think im going to wait till six weeks then i think ill try hut im going to be very careful. i think ill be fine though. bub was also vaccumed out lol so yeah heaps of **** went wrong

I had tore my first pregnancy and doctor said I was healing great but I didn't resume sex until 2 months later after having my baby. You are in the clear you won't tear again but I was a little dry at first cuz of breastfeeding.

I didn't tear this time around but I won't resume sex for a while.

I didn't get stitches, but I'm sure if the doctor said you are healing then that means you're ready. Remember, I had a c-section on the 25th of May and I feel just fine and my incision is closed! I just seen my doctor today and he said I'm okay to do what every I want. My baby is going to be 8 weeks this Friday!! I'm sure you'll be okay and if it does hurt, it'll be because of the long time without having sex, I don't think the tear will hurt. Just start off slow!!
