Had my ultrasound today :-)

I had my ultrasound today and I hadn't haven't had one since 15 weeks. Doctor confirmed that I'm still having a baby boy. That's just amazing. He's measuring great the way he's supposed to. He weighs 4 close to 5 lbs. He was being shy/stubborn so I still couldn't get a glimpse of his face. We even tried turning to see if he would move. He would put his hands in front of his face "No pictures please" he's telling mama. So I guess that means I won't see him until he makes his debut. But I'm extremely excited and can't wait to love on him :-)

Right that's all that matters that they are born healthy I'm a very happy mama. I can't wait til he gets here :-)

Well I guess just as long as our baby's are born healthy then we should be happy. My husband and I are both Mexican too so my baby is definitly going to look Mexican!!

Haha...I'm Mexican and he's black so I guess I'd be okay as long as I didn't get totally lost. Sometimes half-Latino kids end up just looking the other half of their background. I'll love her like crazy no matter what, and I guess you're right, we're not half bad either. lol!

I've always heard that baby boys favor there mothers and girls favor their dads.  So far it's proven to be true so far. But it's only a old wives tale. I wouldn't care if he looked like either one of us really. We both are good lookin ppl lol haha. It would be interesting to see. I'm part Asian I want him to at least have the Asian eyes lol.

I don't love him, but he's a good guy so no hatred here. I'm too laid-back to hate anybody so not sure who that would be for us. Her father says the genes run strong in his family, but I've told him they do in ours too, so it's really a genetic crapshoot. I'm just competitive so I want her to look just like me lol. Plus he's got this really masculine, chiseled look so not sure how that would translate into little girl. :)

Oh, I always lose. My two girls look just like their dad. His family has very strong genes so I know my little boy is going to look just like daddy!!! It's funny because since I was pregnant with my first daughter I always would say she would look like daddy and she did and also with my second daughter. I really haven't had too many ultrasounds with this one, but so far it's looking like daddy.

I've heard that your baby looks, acts or has the same similarities than the person you hate the most during your pregnancy.... I guess that's true =)
My sister-n-law hated my dad during her second pregnancy and even though he doesn't look like my dad, but his personality is just like my dad's and he has the exact same mole under his lip, just like my dad.... So girls I recommend you love your baby's daddy!!

It is really hard to tell...I want to win haha...My first son looks a lot like me :-)...Love the element of surprise just keeps you guessing.

My ex-boyfriend and I are having the same battle. If it makes you feel any better, it's sort of hard to tell from ultrasounds. I have them every week or two, and what I see is cute baby profile. My ex is convinced she looks just like him, but mostly I just let him think that lol.

Besides, there's something to having an element of surprise in the birth. I can't wait til she pops out looking like a mini-me and I win. :D

Thank you :-)...yes very great...I wish he would've shown his face he kept putting his hands up...me and bd are having a gene battle lol just wondering who he's gonna look like...seems as tho he has my shy personality lol
