feeling blue

I've been feeling really down the past couple of days. Last week I was so excited about how full and round my tummy was getting and I was so excited to see myself looking like a pregnant lady. But this week I want to cry every time I pass a mirror. I feel hideous. It doesn't help that I feel like my husband thinks the same. I am worried that the blue days are going to get worse. I also found out today that I might have gestational diabetes.  I am really worried. Can anybody realte or have any pointers to help get me out of my funk?

Try taking your mind off of your size, afterall, you are pregnant and you're suppose to look full and round. Try doing something around the house. Try shopping online or going out with friends or family. I'm sure your husband thinks you are beautiful. Many husbands find their pregnant wife to be beautiful and sexy.

Why do you think you have gestational diabetes? Did you fail your 1 hour test? I did my 1 hour and failed. I did the 3 hour test and I haven't gotten a call from my doctor, so, so far it's good news, until Monday when I find out if I have it or not. Try not to worry about it. Your doctor will know how to take care of you and your baby if you do have gestational diabetes!!

Thanks. I guess around now I need lots of hugs and physical affection but my hubby has never been that way so I feel it more now. And he is not so good at paying compliments...they mostly end up as backhanded compliments. Yeah, I failed my one hour test. My glucose was really high. I have my 3 hour test on Tuesday.

im totally there with you! and it sounds like your husband is my husbands long lost twin. somedays i feel pretty with a belly and alot of days, i dont. brightside- i think were the ones that will be truly motivated to get back to our hot pre preg bods. one way i make myself feel better, buy a cute summer dress. they hide all the new butt and thigh weigh, theyre super comfy and cute. also i wear my hair down more. i wish i could say something to make you feel better completely but im still waiting to hear it myself. i believe alot of it is just hormones, even though im sure youre tired of hearing that. lol! i have to keep telling myself- you have a miracle inside of you and that is the most beautiful thing in the entire world. people have (literally) killed to be where we are right now, might as well enjoy it! i hope this has made you feel better and luckily for us, theres lots of support on this site. feel free to message me anytime you need a boost!

I always tell myself "I'm sexy and I know it" lol...It always boost my confidence. Somedays I feel fat, but I say I'm a beautiful pregnant woman. You boost your confidence by your confession. I wouldn't let your husband should give you compliments or something. MEN!!!! They have no idea what we go through. You can always message me as well.

The only thing I dont like about my husband is that he don't want to rub my belly or feel my baby move... :'(
He calls me pancita...(Spanish word for belly)
He helps me clean the house and sometimes he even goes grocery shopping.....
Plus he still want to have sex even tho I feel soo big & fat......

Maybe if you go shopping for something cute and sexy will make you feel better.....
And you could also go shopping for baby clothing....

I bought some cute dresses today, it does help. I also rub my belly in the mirror and I tell the baby she's worth it...and that as soon as she gets here I'm going back to the gym. :)
