Is this labor?
Ive been spotting for about a week and just right now i wiped and it was bright red blood. Should i go to the hospital? Im 38 wks+ 3 days
I started spotting, first with bright red blood but now it's brownish n bits of my mucus plug are showing up when I wipe below. I'm 37 weeks as of today n my ob says its a sign that my cervix is softening in preparation of delivery. If you do not have excessive bleeding then continue to pay close attention to your body. You will not need to go to the hospital until u either have excessive bleeding, ruptured membrane, true contractions at least 4-5 minutes apart, etc.
Just go to hospital if you r bleeding like that just to be sure.
