Pain in Left Hip??

Is there a reason why I am having pains in my left hip?? It's only on my left side though. Has anyone else experienced this??

my son sleeps on the right side of me but my left hip is always one that hurts

Oh lord, my left hip hurt so freaken bad last night I was in tears. It was my hip and my side at once. The pain wouldn't go away and then it happened the smornimg for a couple mins

My left hip hurt all along... surprisingly today my right one hurts more.  Between the relaxin and baby's position it's normal for pain to settle in one or two spots.  Let your doc know so it can be monitored though.

It's the relaxin the hormone released during the last trimester. I'm sure it's probably throughout the pregnancy but it increases towards the end. Depending on what side your baby is laying toward it hurts more. My right hip is the worst. My son seems to have picked that side since early. It gets easier. Rest as often as you can. at night sleep with a pillow between your legs. I know people say lay on your left but to ease your pain try to start on your right to get off that hip. It's totally normal. I hope it gets better.
