Why so quickly after her dd? I'm due tomorrow but doc won't induce me for another week.
Not sure, they offered to do it at 39 weeks, which i was tempted, but i decided i would give her till at least her dd, and thats they day they came up with. I believe it has to do with the fact that my actual dr had twins and went on maternity leave so they are trying to fit her patients in where they can
I'm due on June 30, but it looks like I'm not going to go into labor by then either. Being induced July 2 (: but I like that mine is going to be a July baby. Good luck (:
Why is everyone getting induced so soon after their due date? I'm one day over and my Dr won't even discuss it yet
It really depends on the dr/hospital. My dr went on maternity leave 4 weeks earlier than expected so all of the other drs are taking on her patients till she gets back...unfortunately that mean we all are getting whatever time they have left available
My doctor said she won't let her patients go more than a week over because of the medical proof that the umbilical cord stops working as well after 41 weeks. And because of the Fourth of July weekend, my doctor wants to induce while she still has full staff at the hospital so I luck out and get induced on Thursday, July 2.
Thats interesting! Im glad they got me in when they did then:)
Well I may actually have a June baby. In the process of being induced now
Hey congrats! Glad they finally got u in :) good luck!
Good luck and congratulations!
Probably because it's July 4th weekend lol. I'm in Canada so it doesn't affect us here. But I was due yesterday and have induction scheduled for Saturday because of my big baby and I've been in labour for 6 days already with no progress.
Good luck hope all goes well
