a bit disappointed

So I had my membranes swept Wednesday and it seems nothing happened I felt a little uncomfortable a few hours after but now its just all back to normal I really want to have this baby by next Wednesday due to the fact that  if I dont ill end up with another c section I've walked so much my feet are so swollen and hurting. Sex is out the question as my husband only has sex woth me once a week :/ im just extremely disappointed and kind of emotional. I really thought getting my membranes swept would work.

No I wont be offered another one im 39 wks my dr dont want me to go too over due since I cant get induced. Next wed they will schedule my c section for june18 which is my due date im just bummed this is my 3rd baby. I had my first when I was 17 than my other when I was 18 my first couldn't handle Braxton hicks and he had no amniotic fluid left so he was delivered by section and my other was too close so I had to get another c section and because its been 5 yrs since they where going to let me try and deliver vaginal but it just seems my body wasn't meant to do that :(

Had my sweep yesterday. Had contractions for 2 hours. Doctor said I was 2cm, same as last week, and that she stretched me to about a 3. No bleeding at all. Just mild contractions. Really hoping something changes over the weekend. Monday is my deceased grandmother's birthday, I think that would be a great born day for my little one to have!

I got my sweep yesterday. I had the usual spotting and uncomfortable feeling but we will see. I had a prescription for sex lol Dr's order! 2 cm 75%thin. Hopefully something today.  39+4

I am as frustrated as you are. I haven't gotten a sweep but I have been having contractions for 3 days in a row now! Some of them have been very painful butthey don't progress. I am currently at 3cm and 75% effaced. I am 38 weeks and not In a rush but these passed three days have taken a toll on my no sleep not much of an appetite and of course no energy to do anything

Will you be offered another sweep? Mine have both worked within 24hrs, but I expect you're not overdue like I was as you're looking at a section. A second one might do the trick. As a mum of 3 who's been overdue 3 times I'll let you in on a little secret...i dont think sex really works anyway, believe me I've tried it!
