Anyone here have tried transvaginal ultrasound?Its my schedule on the 11th for tvs,and im kind of worried. Hihihi,cause its a bit awkward I guess. So,how does it feel??
Just as awkward as a papsmear . Totally worth it!! I just had one Thursday and I got to see my baby and the heartbeat! Which was awesome because my last pregnancy was a tubal and I was soooo relieved to see it in my womb alive!
Through my IVF process, I've done countless numbers of vaginal ultrasounds. It really isn't that uncomfortable or awkward. The doctor usually dims the light down to make you feel more comfy. Focus on the screen to help you not think of the ultrasound itself. It's amazing to see the heartbeat.
I had one of Friday, its not painful at all. Awkward but not painful- worth it though. Due date 6/13 and was able to see the heartbeat!
Its pretty awkward lol..a little painful when they start moving it around in there.. good luck!
