I'm in grad school, no maternity leave for me! I'm going to continue as usual up until my due date, and return to class and my internship 2 weeks after baby arrives. I really can't take any more time off than that, I'd get too far behind. Thankfully, 2 of the 3 classes I'll be taking this summer are offered online and my internship supervisor is extremely flexible
I don't know... I wish I could do it already though!! I'll probably stop working one month before due date. And you?
With my first, I worked until 3 days before I had her because she was a 41 week scheduled induction. With this one I'm in school full time so I'll take the summer off since he's due a month after this semester's finals and return to school in the fall.
Depends on if I'm being induced. If I am I will work til about 5 days or so before. If not, I guess I'll have to see. I'm taking 8 weeks of leave
I plan on working as long as I can before the baby arrives so I can spend my maternity leave at home with my baby. Also, as long as your doctor says it's OK you should stay active up to labor
I wasn't to sure when to start my leave but my boss keeps asking me when I plan on it and I don't know what to tell her yet because I can't predict how I will feel then lol I'm a cake decorator so I'm on my feet all day so I might stop a few weeks before my due date
I cant afford to take off. Ill work until the little fella gets here. I found out today that I only get six weeks. I thought I had read in the policy that it was twelve. Ill have to go back and look. Im bummed.
