Transpostion of the great arteries is exactly what my daughter had done! She is now a normal healthy a 11 years old, the only thing I have to do is go once a year take her to the children's hospital for a Eco to check her heart is growing with her and so far everything has been good :) If u have any questions u would like to ask I would be happy to talk to u about it just message me!

@schenner2 she has transposition of the great arteries which means the left and right ventricles of her heart are the wrong way round and it will mainly cause not to be able to breathe, surgery success rate is over 99% and doctors are amazing and are very confident so i cant ask or better than that..hopefully she will only need the one open heart surgery if all goes well

Sending positive thoughts your way.  What type of heart condition does she have?  I ask because i have a friend whose little girl also has a heart condition and will need several surgeries throughout her life.
