Yes I am. I was so excited to with my first, I took a breastfeeding class and everything. Then labor time came and I got rushed into an emergency c section which changed everything. I was in so much pain from that and then breastfeeding, which is painful at first, was too much so I gave up about a week. I totally regret it! Everyone says give it 2 weeks and everything will be fine after that so that's what I am going to do!
I also has an emergency c-section with my first but for me breast feeding came easy. I never had any pain or trouble. Plan on breast feeding my second. I know a lot of people who did have trouble though. Everyone is different. Best of luck
Yep, I'm going to! You can take classes, also look into if your community has a breast feeding support group. Good luck!
I plan to! Did for over a year with my first! I love that it is the one thing mommy can provide that no one else can. Plus the excuse to sit down and snuggle is awesome!
I plan to and really hope that I can!!
I am going to give it another try this time around. I wasn't able to produce enough milk the first time and I felt so bad, but I definitely want to try again!!
If it makes you feel any better, it took me until my first was four months before I really got comfortable with it. But beware, your nipples get really sore. Lanolin helps, and so does some of your own milk, but to really make a difference, get some help the first couple times to make sure the latch is right.
My two year old just turned two January 14th and I stopped breast feeding him on January 16th, Plan on to breast feed this one for at least a year. It was hard to wean my toddler and I don't want to go through that again, I must admit the bond is amazing.
Breast feeding xan be hard at first and painful but once you gwt past it its no big deal. I breastfed my first and plan to breastfeed this one as well. I highly suggest buying lanolin cream. Its safe for the baby so put it on your nupples before and after you nurse. It will make a huge difference with pain. Also make sure baby is latched on correctly. Good luck!
