what!?

I was givin azithromycin by my regular doctor. She said its a sex bacteria. Makes no damn sense to me. Im frustrated! Whats this medicine for!!

Ya that's very strange the doctor gave you a prescription without telling you what its for . sounds like they maybe gave wrong person the slip I'd call and double check.

Azithromycin can be used to treat BV, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Herpes, Syphilis, Urethritis, amongst other things. I would call the dr back and ask what exactly is the reason U need to take it. Let them know Ur concerned but want specifics. The nurse may just call U back instead of the dr, as long as U get an answer. I wouldn't want to take anything without knowing why it was prescribed. Also depending on what it's for, your boyfriend/hubby will most likely need to take it as well just so the 2 of U don't pass it back & forth. If he has whatever it is, if he's not treated too you'll just keep getting it.
