Monday Update August 23

First off~~~~Happy Birthday to my awesome husband! He hit 35 today and is none to happy about it...lol.

Well, not too many changes with Phin this week. He is as cute as ever and everyday there is a new thing for him to learn. Today as a matter of fact, he learned that his finger fits right up his nose... :P Such a wondrous milestone huh?

Over the weekend he discovered eating again. Which was nice but I haven't had a meal to myself since! We ordered Chinese last night and he was devouring MY szechuan dumplings with hot sesame sauce! He couldn't get enough of them and wanted nothing to do with his chicken fingers. Figures he would like the spicy stuff seeing that is all I ate when pregnant with him.

AFM-26 weeks today. I have officially hit the phase of eating where I am planning what I want to eat next before even finishing what I have in front of me...here comes the weight gain. I have to find a way to reign myself in. I am not making bad choices, just way too many choices! lol. ^_^ I posted a new belly pic and some new ones of Phin as well.

Enjoy the week ladies!

Happy bday Chris! I feel like we know you ;-) - I turned 35 this year, it is not so bad! Phin and new baby will keep him young.

Hayden is on the go go go. Is it weird that everyone likes to tell me what an "active" child I have - but then they follow up with "but that is good" -- huh. wonder what they are really thinking!

AFM, got my new blood work back today and PHEW - looks like my hCG is rising as it should and progesterone is on track. So glad I worked with the DRs to monitor me this month when TTC, made this whole process EASY. No real symptoms except I am tired. Last time my bubbies HURT, but not this time. Jules said maybe they won't get as big...haha, I LIKE THAT! Now it is the waiting game until Sept 21st when we do the heartbeat check.

Ordering Hayden's passport this week for a trip we are taking this fall to MEX!

Happy Bday to your hubby Kele!

Not to much to report this week.  MAdy now sings Happy HAppy for happy birthday, which is pretty cute!  We have also hit that finger up the nose milestone, ewww sooo gross Mady will pull a bogger out and stare at it.
Mady is now sucking the juices out of any food then spitting them out, it is such a pain.  But she does eat when she is hungry.
It is back to reality for me next week, I am not looking forward to this, but Mady will be with a parent of one of my students, so she will pick Mady up when she drops off her girls and drop her off at the end of the day.  So that is nice!
AFM- I am 9 weeks preggo and starting to feel better, but I have a belly already, I am scared of how big I will eventually get.

Nothing really new with Ava. She is getting her molars in and is not liking it. She always has her fingers in the back of her mouth. She has been having some diarrehea lately but I am assuming that's from the molars coming in. She doesn't have a fever or anything else. She has always gotten it while her teeth came in. I'm a little worried about her talking. She only says a few works. She does not put two words together yet. She has once, hi momma. But she does understand when I ask her to do something or get something. She usually eats well and has been eating on her own. Sitting her at a little kids table with her older brother. She knows where her eyes, nose, mouth, toes and feet are. When you ask her where her nose is she usually sticks the finger up it, or up yours.

AFM~ I am 37 weeks now with my third and finaly baby. I am scheduled for a csection in 15 days!! I am counting days now, omg. Time is flying!

Not a whole lot new going on here!  Brock went to day care for the first time today!  I went to work in my classroom, so he is going today and Wednesday, and then we have inservice on Friday.  He did great today!  He didn't even care that we left, which is how I would want it rather than him clinging.  He ate great and napped for 2 hours.  The napping was my concern.  They sleep on cots, so I didn't know how that would work.
I'm not excited to go back to school, but it's a necessary evil, I guess.
Brock is a crazy man!  He climbs on everything and has no fear!  It's scary!  He says some words, but not too many!  Hopefully that comes along!  He understands so much of what we say to him!  It's amazing watching him grow and change.

We're still TTC, and I'll be able to test in a week.  I got a migraine today, so that is not a good sign.  Unless it means the opposite way and hormones are going because I could be preggo.  It's been 5 months!  Ugh!

We spent the weekend up in the White Mtns. which was a much needed break from the heat.  Our friends joined us on Friday and they have an almost 3 year old... who is also Leighton's buddy.  So that was nice to have the girls run and play outside and burn some energy off... something we can't do during the summer time here!

Leighton says a TON of words, but also has yet to put them together into simple 2 or 3 word sentences.  I am under the impression that is normal, so as long as she keeps adding to her vocab the sentences will soon follow.  From what I have been told, once they figure out how to put sentences together the talking NEVER stops!  Our friends who came up to the mountains with us listed to there little girl talk for 4 hours straight.  Needless to say, we had a large glass of wine waiting for them at the cabin ;)

This is our 2nd month TTC and I don't think we were successful.  I took an EPT yesterday and it was a blaring negative.  I will take one again this weekend just to confirm (since I did take it early afterall) but I have a feeling that this wasn't our month.  I will keep you all posted :)
