A WHAT CUP - ARE YOU SERIOUS??

ok, so today I had to go bra shopping (almost 20 weeks). Pre-pregnancy, I was always a 34-D and well proportioned, happy with my body at 136 lbs. I was down to my ugliest bra that looks more like two tents side by side, so I popped into Nordstrom's to get fitted. I was ok in a DDD - but the sales person told me to go for the G. A G???I never even knew they came in that size! My hooters are certainly large. But seriously, this ugly bra feels like heaven. I can not believe I waited this long. BUT REALLY - A G CUP? How many cup sizes of growth is that? It even has FOUR CLASPS to fasten it - yes, vertically.

Are they going to keep growing??

I was a 36C before getting pregnant and I am 21 weeks now and my size E nursing bras from my first pregnancy are SNUG! I am going shopping this week for new ones. One of my coworkers with gigantic hooters (poor thing is only about 5 feet tall also) said to go to Lerner because they have really pretty bras than in regular sized stores. I guess women who wear larger clothes wear much bigger bras, which makes complete sense. I think they are also cheaper than the large bras you find in the large department stores. I think I will still get fitted at Nordstrom's first though so I can get measured by a pro ; )

I definitely recommend going soon for a new bra - as large and ugly as it is - I have never been more comfy!

Aaahahahahaha. You made me laugh so hard. I also am down to my ugliest bra (definitely looks like 2 tents side by side). Hideous. I have been postponing going in for a fitting simply because I'm mortified at the prospect of hearing a cup size like E or F or G. I was a 34 D before pregnancy and now they are just HUGE. So I'll be joining you in the G-cup club shortly. At least I will be comfortable.

Sorry - but I am not letting hubby near them - it is not like they are fun (I don't know how Pam Anderson does it) -- they are just TOO BIG to be fun! I miss my normal boobies! haha

hahaha... that story is funny!  Wow... your boobs did get big!!!  I was a 34C pre-pregnancy and I am now (22 weeks) a 34D.

It was homecoming weekend for the University of Arizona (where my husband and I attended) and most of our friends flew in for it... well, many of the haven't seen me since last year at this time and they were all in shock when they saw my stomach and boobs!!!

Yes... Amy, I agree... its great to have boobs :)  (I was a 34B until about 3 years ago when I gained 15lbs. and I went up to a C)  Enjoy 'em!

I was always a solid 34 B and then I noticed that my bras were getting super tight so I went to Victoria Secret to see what I was...and I was a 36 C! Ahh...it is nice...I have always wanted boobs. :)

Evthing4reason is ABSOLUTELY right!  I'm normally an in between size.  I gained 2 whole cup sizes once my milk came in. I was comfortable for the most part in the next size up, but when I was very full of milk, I'd fit more comfortably 2 1/2 sizes from my norm.

Hate to break it to you, but chances are they will keep growing. Plus they will get even heavier once your milk comes in. Sorry ;)
