Yep... "mama" and "baba" for us as well :) but, mama was her first word with an association... she just started baba and associating to her bottle 2 weeks ago. crazy how fast they change :( exciting but sad too!
Noah says dada and will say mama but not as often as the da da da da da LOL I dont think he quite knows that mama is me yet and da da is daddy.... but he is doing great on trying out his sounds LOL he does alot or nonsense rambling too! I love it
SO FUNNY but tonight Hayden said "mama" too - Drew was standing there so I kept saying "do it again - ma ma" and she kept mimicking me! First with just her mouth in the mmmmm - mmmmm - and then with sound. It was HILARIOUS. I don't think she connects it with me though - I just love that she watched me move my lips to a consinent and then she did the same.
carter says mama, and has been for a while and my mom and husband swear he know its me.
he also says mmmmmm when he is hungry
Yep! :) haha. Blake makes a lot of non-sense words that I have no idea if she says it to mean something but I don't think so. I just noticed a pattern with "mama" and "baba".
Can "Bleb bleb bleb" be counted as a word? ;)
Blake says "mama" for me or when she is upset. She definitely calls me "mama" though. She will be playing on the floor and then look up and see me and cry "mamamamamama" haha. And when I walk away "mama" etc. And she stops as soon as I pick her up.
She says "baba" and I think she says that for bottle and binky. She threw her binky today and got mad and kept saying "baba" until I gave it back to her and she popped it in her mouth. :) I think anything that goes in her mouth is "baba"
She says "dada" but not really to where I think she means daddy yet....
It is crazy to think that they are already communicating!!! :)
