Hi! Sorry we have been MIA

Hi ladies,
I am so sorry to have gone MIA - I think this was my longest ever not checking in. I have time today to read through updates, but wanted to send a quick hi. We've been traveling lots, having guests and busy with summer - still no excuse. Hayden is soo big, I can not stand it. She loooves to practice singing her ABCs, climbing a stool to "stand" at the counter and laughs at just about everything. No news on my end, but my DR suggested Clomid. I am not sure I am ready for that! My AF is 5 days late (I am on day 29) but took several tests and all negative. Not sure what is up but if I don't get it by Monday I will check in with my DR.

I miss you guys and again sorry to be sooo MIA!

Clomid basically stimulates your ovaries, so some people do not ovulate every month - clomid is the magic pill that makes those puppies pop out eggs (my not so scientific explanation - haha)

BTW Ovaz, love the Leighton pics on facebook! Such a cutie pie.

OH NO.I am now even sorrier I have not been on here. I am sending you a great big hug across the miles. I know the feeling of miscarriage and it is such a hollow feeling. I hope you are doing better, time really does heal. It is funny, I had two miscarriages before Hayden. One was at my 9 wk u/s when I completely thought I was pregnant, symptoms and all and I went in and they could not detect a heartbeat. I felt so empty. But once I had Hayden 100% of the loss was gone. I would never have had her otherwise. Also I had the tissue tested and it was trisomy 18. The baby was very sick and it took care of itself as nature intended. My next miscarriage happened within a few days of finding out I was pregnant - about 30 days into my cycle.

It is not always easy but we get there. And in the meantime, we celebrate life through our babes and the friends and sisters we have that are new moms, having new kids, etc .

I am so sorry this did not work and sending you all the support in the world. Hang in there.

Hey Jem, great to hear from you. That is great to hear that Hayden is singing her ABCs. I can't even imagine Jack talking...dare to dream that the whining will ever stop. ;) Sorry you are having cycle issues. Did you have issues before Hayden? It must be very frustrating if you are ttc. Hopefull AF will come on her own soon.

I have been a bit MIA myself as well. This month has been completely crazy for me. After dealing with the miscarriage I got a horrible stomach bug for about 4 days. I was just getting kicked all around the first part of the month. Now that I am back up and running we are concentrating on home buying. I think we are getting close...finally! I can't wiat for Jack to have more room to run. He is such a busy kid. ;)

Hopefully on Monday I will have time to do more updates.

Have a great weekend!
