Fetal Movements

I have been feeling my baby move alot for awhile now. I am 17 weeks and 5 days. Since last night I have not felt my baby move & I starting to get a little freaked out! This is my 4th pregnancy but I can't really remember this kinda stuff coming & going?? Do you think this is normal?

I agree with Jay_Leron, its too early to feel the movement all the time. I probably feel my little baby every other day and it usually  during different times of the day.

I'm about 18 weeks and having the same situation-- some active days and some very inactive days as far as feeling the baby move. I am SOOOOO glad I rented a fetal doppler. You can rent them for as cheap as $15 per month. When I get nervous, I just listen in to his little heartbeat for a few seconds and I feel calm again. I usually check in about twice a week. Best money I have ever spent!!

This is my 4th pregnancy and I have been feeling it move for about 1 month 1/2. I am a pretty little person, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. You can actually watch my stomach move. It has been real real active and then last night I guess it was just tired and decided to sleep all night and half of the next day. I finally broke down and drunk a coke around  2pm and it started kicking again in about 30/45 minutes after that! And it has every since. It really starts kicking if I cross my legs.My husband felt it for the first time 3 nights ago and every day since then. It takes kicking spells every so often. I just panicked today when I couldnt feel it moving anymore and I keep trying to work and not worry but it was in the back of my mind if something was wrong. Thanks for the replys

It's too son girl! relax. You should start worrying when you are 20 or 22 weeks and your baby stops moving. Right now the baby is still too little!
Btw, what does it feels like? im 17w1d today and I don't know if what I'm feeling are muscle contractions or the baby. My bf puts his hand on my belly and he feels something, then I put it and I feel it too but I feel it on my hand,  not on my inside!

its very normal. at this stage they havent really created a sleeping or playing pattern. so its ok to go a few hours even a day without feeling them. though i too still get a little worried. i will be 18 weeks tomorrow and it was late this morning i felt my baby. havent felt him in over 3 hours now. what i do to get my little guy going is drink a cold glass of water and lie on my side. if am at work, ill move around my office for a bit, then sit back down and relax, sure enuff he goes at it lol. they tend to move more when ur relaxed because the swaying from ur movement rocks them to sleep.

but hey, no harm on checking with doc to listen to heart beat or see baby on scan for a peace of mind!
