How are you doing?

So I'm 31wks and have gotten morning sickness back. The day befre yesterday I got very sick and couldn't keep nothing down, not even water for over 24hrs. My appointment yesterday I did the usual pee in a cup and as soon as I gave it to the nurse she knew something was wrong. My urine was very oarnge and I was severly dehydrated with R1 protein and +2 keytones. My doctor checked my cervix and sent me to labor and delivery because I was dilated and having contractions fro dehydration. I got hooked up to an I.v which took 3 times to get in my veins cause I was so dehyrated but they finally got some fluids in me and the contractions stopped. :) I got an ultrasound and my baby boy is head down so I hope he stays that way. He was measuring big at 3lbs 8ounces.

How are ya'll doing this far in yor pregnancy?

Yikes!  That is a horrible experience.  Hope it doesn't happen again.

I am 29 weeks and doing fine so far.  Baby girl is head down.  I am on limited activities becuase as soon as I walk very much I get contractions.  My obe's given me meds to keep in my purse in case the contractions get strong.  But she checked my cervix and it's still high and closed.  She did say baby was only 10 percentile size on the U/s, but that it was also hard to get a measurement becuase baby was moving so much....  Am really hoping baby is ok and it was just measurement error...

Next checkup is in 4 weeks.  But I'll have to go see my back up doctor in a few days as I need a medical certificate for travelling overseas next week.

I can imagine that was very scary. Are you doing better now? I'm 30 weeks and not due till march though the dr. And nurses don't think ill make it past February. Since iv had minor braxton hicks every night for two weeks and baby already dropped and positioned. Other than that my pregnancy had been very smooth sailing!
