38 weeks today and strep b positive

so I am 38 weeks today with my third little one (my others are 5 & 8). I have never done the strep b test before and I tested positive. I know that means when I go into labor I have to be on antibiotics which is fine. I am also carrying a heavy amount of fluids around baby. Now my midwife says that if I don't go into labor on my own I will be induced between 39 & 40 weeks. Being induced is against my birth plan (as is rushing to the hospital when labor starts) and now I am concerned that everything will just be completely against my birth plan. I am trying not to get discouraged but it is kind of hard not to. Any advice?

It ***** when things go against the birth plan, but keep in mind that the baby is the priority, I'm sorry things didn't go your way, I hope you go into labor without the induction. I am also positive, and a little nervous on when to get to the hospital when labor starts

My midwife is concerned because of the combination of the group b strep and the high amounts of fluid. She's worried complications may arise just from my membranes rupturing (like part of the cord coming out). I know she knows my birth plans and feelings and she's doing what is best for baby and me but it just kind of stinks cause inducing causes a much worse birthing experience and I really didn't want that.

I know it ***** but group b strep is nothing to fool around with.  I don't see why you need to be induced but getting to the hospital in a timely manner for the antibiotics to start isn't a bad thing.
