I am 34 weeks now, when I  was eating pineapples at 28 weeks and I kept having contractions. so when I stopped eating them, the contractions stopped as well. It is different with every woman. Good luck ladies.

There isn't enough bromelain in one pineapple to cause labor it is just a coincidence.

Well yestday I was 4/5ths engaged tonight hospital said I'm 2/5ths before hospital I eat a fresh pinaple all of it caused contractions they told me pinaple can cause cervix to sofen also cause loose stools and contractions I think my baby moved more down because off the contractions they was causing because she's dropped to 2/5ths over night I started feeling the twinges when eating pinaple so I honistly think it helped me engage more:L could be wrong but have just lost my show they told me labour was heading and could be anytime now :)

Same with me I crave pineapples and 34 weeks going on 35. But makes my stomach hurt so I stopped eating them. I read that eating a large quantity of it softens the cervix and also causes diarrhea and contractions.
