no help!

I was due on the 9th and I've been having high BP and the hospital keeps telling me my uterus is in distress so I go every other day for a stress test.  Well I asked my doctor at my 40 week mark if I could be scheduled to be induced and he told me no.  So I talked to the hospital and they said they recommend it for me but they have to go through my doctor for it.  So I've been trying for over a week to get it scheduled but my doctor keeps telling me that he won't schedual it tell my 42 week mark on monday, which meets he wants me to make it to 43 weeks and I'm already in pain and having problems.  I don't get why he's being like this but he's been mean to me my whole pregnancy and the hospital won't let me go through anyone else.  I don't know what else to do...

I would ask to speak with whoever he has to answer to! It's ridiculous that you're going every other day and way past due! It's your body, not his! I hope you get to meet your little one soon!

I'm so sorry to hear you are going through this. Hindsight 20/20 but if you get pregnant again, ask your new doctor what is the birth plan. You should have known his beliefs before now. My doctor told me from the start she will induce if I'm 5 days late and in pain.
