You should be fine to have a normal birth then. Well and truely  healed. Remember scar tissue is a lot tougher than normal tissue. I know plenty of women who have had a normal birth after a c-section, I also had an emergency section 6 years ago and definitely want to have a normal delivery this time. Good luck

Oh wow big healthy baby yeah tell your doctor you want to try for a vbac  they will pull your records for the c section and long as there isn't any issue you should be able to try  it's better if you start laboring on your own  but they will advise you that there is still a chance of a repeat c section  they told me that even after I had a vbac congrats and good luck

I had my section 7 years ago. My daughter was almost 10 pounds, that was the reason i had to have a c-section

I had a c  section a little over 12 yrs ago a long two day labor ended in emergency c section had a vbac little over 4 yrs ago so it's possible to have one if you want to try but if you had a c section recently I believe 15 months or less they won't even try a v bac because you scar is still healing and likely to rupture

They call it a vbac. It depends...talk to your OB about it if that's what you want to try. They say that if your first labor was really long, you're less likely to be a candidate for a vbac because that puts so much pressure on your scar. it could cause it to open again and you could bleed out. I know some woman who have done it. I had issues with my labor beyond the long.....so I am having another c section...this one is planned is all.
